Reports, workbooks and proposals – I love the transformation from text and data into a polished and engaging publication. It's about making information clear and compelling, and using infographics to bring content to life.
With Proposal Management experience, I know that these projects involve multiple contributors, tight timelines, and cycles of review. That’s why some of these examples were formatted in MS Word with diagrams created in MS PowerPoint – your everyday tools making collaboration easy by allowing you more editorial control, right up to the final PDF.
Of course, I’m also happy to use specialised design software for a slicker finish. I’m flexible with tools and focused on getting the best result for you and your audience.
Note: text in some images has been blurred due to the confidential and commercial nature of the content.
The layouts displayed have been curated and are not in page order.

TUI TUIA | LEARNING CIRCLE • LITERACY WHITE PAPER
Design, layout and formatting of Tui Tuia | Learning Circle’s Literacy White Paper written in response to proposed Ministry changes to literacy support in Aotearoa. This paper, currently in its final draft form, was to showcase the evolution from Reading Recovery (RR) to Early Literacy Support (ELS) presenting evidence, expertise and the changes of the literacy intervention practice in a slick and professional manner. The design included creation of custom infographics.

TUI TUIA | LEARNING CIRCLE  LEADERSHIP ESSENTIALS WORKBOOK
This workbook was created for the Tui Tuia | Educational Leadership team for their Growing Great Leaders™ – Leadership Essentials programme. It contains reference readings, slides, key diagrams and activity worksheets for 6 learning modules.
VINE – VIOLENCE INFORMATION AOTEAROA • WHANAUNGATANGA – WĀHINE & KŌTIRO REPORT
This very significant report explores culturally grounded, kaupapa Māori approaches to preventing suicide among wāhine and kōtiro Māori. As one of the first pieces of collateral created after a transformational rebrand performed by Studio Unlimited, extra care was taken to reflect the brand story, inspired by the idea of the kūmara Vine, te aka kūmara, a metaphor for open communication and sharing of information.

TUI TUIA | LEARNING CIRCLE  TAPAS EARLY LEARNING SERVICES WORKBOOK
Design, layout and formatting of a workbook for Tui Tuia | Pacific-led Education’s Tapasā programme for use with Early Childhood Educators. This is to support the learning of educators through their Tapasa journey and record their reflections.
It was important to the Pacific-led Education team that the book reflect the energy and vibrancy of the Tapasā ethos and pacific culture on every page. Tapasā mostly follows the Tui Tuia branding style, but varies with a brighter colour palette and addition of custom pasifika patterns.

TUI TUIA | LEARNING CIRCLE  LEADERSHIP OF CURRICULUM TEAMS REPORT
This was a final report from the Tui Tuia | Educational Leadership team to the Ministry of Education concluding a study on how to maximise and support the collaboration of curriculum leaders within and across schools. At the time, the Tui Tuia branding was in the process of being rolled out in the organisation, and after historically submitting self-formatted MS Word docs, the team’s brief was for a slick, corporate-style report.

TUI TUIA | LEARNING CIRCLE PROPOSAL RESPONSE FOR AKO PANUKU
This competitive Tui Tuia proposal response was for the support and provision of training and learning resources for Ako Panuku – a programme which provides support to Māori Kaiako and teachers across Māori Medium and English Medium settings. Ako Panuku is a development programme intended to be offered by Māori, with Māori and for Māori, so it was important to Te Whānau Maioha (the Māori Educational Leadership team of Tui Tuia) that their narrative be reflected throughout the proposal response in a visually rich and interesting way. The Puhuro pattern used in the cover image and diagram backgrounds is symbolic of the shapes formed from ngā hoe (paddles) when striking the water in harmony, used to express momentum, agility, showing speed through unison.
A majority of the 36-page response was formatted in MS Word, reviewed, finalised and submitted within 48-hours, with some diagrams and infographics formatted in advance to ensure a quick turn-around.

Design, layout and formatting of Tui Tuia | Reading Recovery’s response for a Variation Services Request for Reading Recovery and Early Literacy Support. Reading Recovery has its own branding, separate from Tui Tuia branding, that reflects its support for Early Learning Services, using more vibrant solid colours and child-friendly iconography.
The response document was formatted in MS Word, and included infographics and diagrams creation in MS Powerpoint for client convenience.
