I’ve loved great design my whole life. 
But I didn’t start out as a graphic designer. 
I started down the path of Marketing Management and IT. This opened my world to presales, proposal management, and project management opportunities in IT Outsourcing, before deciding to rekindle my passion for graphic design. This happened through changing industries into Marketing, Advertising and Communications via account and project management roles, and by training in and learning on the job in what I love.
This experience gives me a different perspective and a broader skill-set than the average graphic designer.
With a understanding of consumer behaviour, I have a holistic view of how each and every project fits into the marketing strategy and brand positioning, and I design with this focus in mind. It’s about creating compelling and impactful visuals to capture attention and drive messaging forward – balancing creative outcomes with strategic objectives.
I understand the requirements, processes, pressures and timelines from client, agency and production sides, and can manage the creative and production process throughout, making it as seamless as possible.
An eye for detail and years of quality assurance as an Account Manager means I provide impeccable execution – bringing creativity and precision to every project – big or small.
My experience includes 5+ years in freelance graphic design including branding and visual identity, marketing collateral such as point of sale (POS), print collateral, template creation, publications including reports and proposals, infographics, interior fit-out and signage, image retouching, digital assets for web/EDM/social media/e-learning, visual accessibility and art direction.
I’m currently upskilling in animation/motion graphics, video post-production, and have an eye for photography (just no gear!).
